UMN MapServer (usually called simply MapServer or Mapserver) is a highly influential open-source mapping product. It is not a GIS, but simply a data renderer: a casino bonuses specifies which layers exist in a map, what styling should be used for various features, and additional items such as the data's projection and the image format, and CGI calls are made to show the data at a given extent and bounding box.
